JAI started managing its first infrastructure debt fund whose general partner is “Rimor Fund I GP Limited,” a Cayman domiciled subsidiary formed by JAI.

JAI structured and distributed its first solar energy fund investing in solar projects located in Japan.

JAI structured and distributed its first aviation fund.

The corporate name was changed to “Mitsui &Co. Alternative Investments Limted.” (“MAI”)

MAI acted as the placement agent supporting fundraising for one of the largest solar energy funds in Japan, which was structured by GE Energy Financial Services.

An institutional investor engaged MAI to manage its infrastructure fund portfolio. (Investment management services and gatekeeping were outsourced to MAI.)

MAI established another subsidiary in Cayman, “Rimor Fund II GP Limited,” to manage its second infrastructure debt fund.

MAI opened a representative office in New York.

MAI participated in a fund project to verify the effective use of blockchain technology in fund offering.

MAI Signed United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.

MAI concluded a placement agent agreement with New Forests Pty Limited (“New Forests”), invested by Mitsui & Co. Ltd., to act as a placement agent of a Southeast Asian forestry fund managed by New Forests.

MAI participated in a maritime investment fund established and operated by Navigare Capital Partners A/S (Denmark).

MAI concluded a capital and business alliance agreement with Daiwa Securities Group Inc. (“Daiwa Securities Group”), Daiwa Asset Management Co. Ltd. (Daiwa Asset Management), JAPAN POST INSURANCE Co., Ltd. (“Japan Post Insurance”), Mitsui, and MKAM Co., Ltd. (“MKAM”).

The corporate name was changed to “Daiwa JPI Alternative Investments Co., Ltd.”(“DKAI”).
DKAI started collaborating with Daiwa Securities Group, Daiwa Asset Management, Japan Post Insurance, Mitsui, and MKAM based on the capital and business alliance agreement concluded in March 2025.
